About the charity

An invitation to

A motorsport daywithout equal

One November day at one of the fastest circuits in Britain, shared only with a small, like-minded group of guests and their cars.

Supercars, classics and road-legal racing machinery take to the track alongside a fine selection of gran turismos and sports saloons. In the evening, everyone sits down together at the Strawford Centre for an evening remembering Sir Stirling Moss: a two-course dinner, the premiere of a rediscovered Moss interview, and an interview with our special guest, Peter Stevens.

There are memories to be made, sights and sounds to savour, and good company throughout.

“The right crowd, and no crowding.”

CastleCombe

Built on the perimeter track of RAF Castle Combe, a wartime airfield opened in 1941, the circuit held its first race meeting on 7 July 1950. Stirling Moss won twice here that October. Today it is one of the fastest circuits in the country, set in open Wiltshire countryside.

Moss & Jenks,Mille Miglia

On 1 May 1955, Stirling Moss and his navigator Denis Jenkinson drove the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR, number 722, around Italy at an average of almost 100 mph. It remains the fastest Mille Miglia ever run.

After dinner, we show a recently rediscovered interview in which Moss tells the story himself. It’s the perfect scene-setter for the Mille Miglia centenary in 2027.
